Experienced HVAC Service Technician Wanted

Pay: $28-$35/hour, based on experience

Howe's HVAC Services is a locally owned and operated heating and air conditioning company serving Wake Forest and surrounding communities. 

We're growing and looking for an experienced residential HVAC service technician who can confidently run service calls, diagnose system issues, make repairs, perform maintenance, and communicate professionally with customers. 

This is not an entry-level position.

We're looking for someone who already has strong residential HVAC experience and can work independently in the field. 

What We're Looking For

The right candidate should be comfortable with:

• Diagnosing residential HVAC Systems

• Heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioners, and package units.

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Refrigerant diagnostics

• Airflow issues

• Thermostats and controls

• Zoning systems

• Preventative maintenance

• Repair recommendations and customer communication

• Completing clear job notes and documentation 

• Assisting with residential HVAC installations when needed

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

• Has several years of hands on residential HVAC experience

• Can run service calls independently (support is available when needed)

• Can accurately diagnose problems without constant supervision

• Takes pride in doing the job correctly 

• Is dependable and punctual 

• Communicates well with homeowners

• Keeps a clean and professional work area

• Is comfortable using a phone or tablet for scheduling and job documentation 

• Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

• Is willing to help with installations when needed

• EPA certificate is strongly preferred
